Intent

The Art curriculum at Honeywell Infant School aims to provide all children with the skills, knowledge and understanding they need in order to:

• produce their own creative drawings, paintings, sculptures and other works of art
• enjoy, evaluate and discuss works of art
• express their thoughts and feelings
• learn about a range of diverse artists and their works and be inspired by them
• begin to understand how artists have contributed to the wealth of our nation and the world
